Denny's

Banana Fosters Skillet
OMG this was so good. Basically it was french toast w/ a caramel sauce and bananas. The bread was thick and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The caramel sauce was nice. Not too thick or runny. And the amount was just right. My bread stayed crispy, not too soggy. And then of course the yummy yumm bananas on top. This meal also came w/ 2 eggs and bacon. I was not able to finish 1/2 of this bc the bread was very filling. I would get this again for sure. Maybe just the french toast, tho.

Subway

Turkey Bacon Avocado

Went to Subway today on the way to work to pick up my lunch. Wanted to try someone thing different and saw Turkey Bacon Avocado advertised and another sandwich Chipolte Chicken Ranch. Decided on the TBA. I am sure this would be a super yummy if I ate it right away but I wasn't thinking and my lunch wasn't until 7. By then the bread was soggy and the avocado was brown. I am so mad at myself. It was an $10 for a footlong w/ chips and a drink. Booo. They did put a crap ton of avocado on it tho.

Hungry Man

Beer Battered Chicken Strips and Cheese Fries

Yum. This has to be the most fattening highest calorie count tv dinner of all times, bc it is just so darn good. The chicken strips are tasty. If you heat it up in the oven they are kinda crispy, in the microwave the chicken is more soggy. The chicken is the form pressed chicken parts but still so good. The fries are seasoned wedges and sometimes they dont cook all the way thru. And the cheese is good too. Really its just a fattening salty tv dinner. Not much more to say.

Hot Pocket Pizzeria

4 Cheese Pizza

I once long ago got food poisoning from a tainted Hot Pocket. For several years after I couldnt eat one. It just couldnt do it. I know it wasnt the hot pockets fault. It was the place I bought it from. I finally started eating them again last year but I still shy away from the specific flavor of the one I got sick from, which was the pepperoni pizza. Now this wasnt pepperoni but it still made me nervous. All that marinara sauce. Eee. But it was sooooo cheesey. It was actually really good, lots of yummy sauce. The bread was flavored. Its not my fav but I'd probably buy it again.

Maruchan Instant Lunch

Since I am now living at my parents house temporarily, when I came home from work last night they had not cooked dinner. I was rifling thru the pantry looking for "regular" ramen and this was all they had. Just this one. I dont really like the kind in the cup. But luckily one of my friends used to eat these often and showed me her trick on making this edible.
Boil the water in the microwave. When opening the cup dont open more then you have to to safely pour the boiling water in. Once filled to line, place something heavy on top to keep all the steam in the cup. Then let sit for about 6 mins, which is 3 mins longer then the package suggest. After 6 mins find something to doctor it up w/ like hot sauce or something. I added 1 Taco Bell Hot sauce and 1 Little Ceasers Spice Pack. It was tolerable.
One thing I was surprised to find was that this Shrimp flavor had actual rehydrated tiny tiny shrimp in there. A whole 3 of them. Meh.

Snack Time

Mountain Dew White Out and Starburst Summer Fun Fruits
I felt like I was some sorta gaming nerd eating this snack. Its good tho. I have been craving Starburst for a few weeks and I am on some sorta weird MDew kick. I <3 it.

Starburst Summer Fun Fruits
This pack had 4 super yummy flavors, kiwi banana, lemon-lime, cherry splash and strawberry watermelon. I like Starburst because they are so flavorful and juicy. (hehehe mind in gutter) Lemon-lime was very lemon-limey. Tasted like Crystal Lite. Cherry Splash was very cherry. But my favs were Strawberry Watermelon and Kiwi Banana. I really like banana flavored candy. So yummy. Much better then the original pack. Pink and red. Thats all anyone really likes out of the original pack. They just need to stop making those flavors.

Mountain Dew White Out
This is a hard drink to describe. Its after taste taste like the original flavor. Its like a Sprite. IDK. Its good. If you like MDew then you'll like this.

Gum Fanatic

I am a gum maniac. I can say I have had just about every flavor gum there is and any time there is a new flavor I am the first to try it. I always have a pack in my purse. Since I am poor and have been eating the same things over and over, I dont have anything to blog about so I figured I'd do gum.

Extra Dessert Delights
Strawberry Shortcake

Its good. But the first few mins of chewing kinda taste like plastic. Then its like strawberry vanilla gum. Its not my favorite flavor but if I sent you in to the store and you came out with this I wouldn't be disappointed.

The Lunch Box

Today I Had: Tuna Salad Sandwich

Since I had eggs last night I had a few left over and some tuna in the pantry. As I said in the last post, I'm poor and trying to finally get out of this whole so I am on a strict budget. Tuna salad is a filling meal and super cheap. I use chunk tuna packed in WATER!!! Kraft mayo, sliced colby jack cheese, dill relish, hard boiled eggs, and bread.
I mix to taste so I dont have the exact recipe.

Drain tuna.
Mix tuna, mayo, relish, salt and pepper to taste. I prefer mine extra creamy so I use alot of mayo.
Chop up boiled eggs, mix in w/ tuna mixture. Taste.
Usually I need a little more mayo and salt after I add the eggs.
Chill to let flavors combine.

Serve over a salad, crackers or on sliced bread.

Until I met Fat Guy I never ate my tuna sandwiches w/ cheese and he never had his w/ egg. Now we do both and its so good. This is something I have seen made in so many ways, so you can really personalize this to your taste.

Dining In

Fried Egg Sandwich

Toasted white bread, sliced colby jack and a perfectly cooked egg. Whites hard, runny yolk. Look. Just look at that picture and tell me you don't like it. I cant say too much about an egg. Since I have been on a super tight budget the past few weeks egg sandwiches have been more common then normal. I could eat on every day. So here is how I make my perfect fried egg sandwich.

Spray skillet w/ pam or melt butter to keep eggs from sticking - VERY IMPORTANT
Heat pan on medium/ med high heat.
Crack eggs carefully then wash hands!!
Place bread in toaster and butter once done.
OK now while they eggs are cooking you will notice the white kinda has 2 parts, the thinner runnier part then a firmed part around the yolk. Once the more firm white is about 1/2 set carefully flip the egg, making sure not to break the yolk.
Cook on the other side for a few mins, usually once the white is fully set it kinda lifts up off the skillet. I usually just touch it, bc I hate my whites to be runny at all.
Place a slice of cheese, if you like, on the bread and top w/ the fried egg.

That takes about 5 mins and its good anytime of day.
Incredible. Edible. Egg. :-)

Budding Lunch Meat

I love "skinny" meat - as my MIL calls it. Growing up we could only use 1/2 the pack and the slices are so thin. Nowadays I used the whole pack, Mrs Bairds white bread, Kraft mayo and a slice of Colby jack cheese. Yum. They have a variety of "flavors" like beef and ham. I only really eat the chicken, I think the ham and turkey flavors taste real fake to me. I also like to use this for snacks for the pets, or just a snack for me w/ some cream cheese. With the price of one package being around $0.59 or anyone can afford to snack on these salty meats.

FINE!

Ok after being threatened w/ physical violence, I have found it in me to post again. :-)
My lunch is in 2 1/2 hrs and I will post about my lame sandwich. LOL

Panera

Ham and Swiss Sandwich
Why have I never gone to Panera?
Why didn't anyone tell me how amazing their sandwiches were?
The sandwich comes with about 2 inches of lunch meat, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion. They have all types of bread to choose from, meats, cheeses. Its like a subway sorta. I didn't actually go to Panera, there was a luncheon at work and I had it there. But I will for sure be going to my local Panera ASAP.

I'm Starving!

Would you believe me if I said I didn't eat for a week?
No?!
Hmm... I don't really know why I didn't blog for 7 whole days. I think I just forgot. Sorry about that. I will be back later today with a new food post.
Please forgive me, my loyal reader. LOL Maybe theres more then one.

Chick-fil-A

12 Piece Nugget and Chicken Sandwich

The Chick-fil-A by my house is always crowded. We drive by everyday on the way to work and the drive thru lane goes all the way around the building. Crazyness. But Fat Guy and I decided to leave alittle early and head over there. The good thing about the drive thru is it moves very fast. Chick-fil-A should train other drive thru's like JITB. JITB could have like 4 cars and you'd be there all night.
Anyway I got the 12 piece nugget w/ waffle fries for lunch and a chicken sandwich for dinner. First off I dont like the fries. Ew. Its like eat cooked potato plain. Theres no seasoning. Bleh. But the nuggets. The "batter" is kinda sweet but I get a peppery after taste. The chicken is all white meat. Actual pieces of chicken. Not form pressed chicken meat. Its like a hunk of chicken. They have many different dipping sauces, I have tried the buffalo, honey mustard but hands down the best sauce is the Chick-fil-A sauce. Its a creamy, zesty blend. I have no idea what it is. Maybe like a mayo, mustard and honey mix? IDK. Its delish.
The chicken sandwich is good too. It comes w/ a soft white bun, chicken breast also with the same batter and pickles. Thats it. I did add cheese to mine. The chicken is just so juicy and yum. The food at Chick-fil-A is fresh and real. Nothing processed or taste that way at least.
I need to make time for Chick-fil-A more often.
Oh and lastly, look at these adorable ketchups!! <3

Whataburger

Chophouse Cheddar Burger

I forgot to take a pic. I started chowing down and was a few bites in and realized what I had done. Oh well. I found a generic pic for you to gaze upon. Last night...ugh we need to go grocery shopping. I am craving a homecooked meal. Anyway, we stopped at Whataburger last night and the specialty burger currently is the Chophouse Cheddar Burger. Shredded cheddar cheese between 2 patties, topped w/ grilled onions, bacon and creamy steak sauce. Drool. Except I cant eat double meat burgers anymore. Which is awesome, cause now I have leftovers. So the 3 things I love about this burger:
  1. The Shredded Cheddar - What the crap! This should be on every burger. Real cheddar cheese. I could actually taste the cheddar flavor. Amazing. Its just every other burger is the sliced singles that dont really add anything to the burger.
  2. The Grilled Onions - I like onions. I am not a onion lover. I dont usually like them on my burger. Unless they are grilled. But my problem is most fast food places even when they say grilled onions they dont really grill them. They stick them on the flat top for like 2 mins, but onions take longer then that. So yeah, these were actually cooked all the way, nice and tastey.
  3. The Creampy Steak sauce - A1 and mayo. I could taste the A1. It was yummy. If you like A1 this is the burger for you.
So yes this burger is good. Now I couldnt eat my fries or finish my burger so I am thinking unless you are a monster a JR whataburger should be enough. Unless you want leftovers.

Denny's

Bacon Flapjacks

I haven't been to Denny's in many years. I like Ihop and Waffle house better. But Fat Guy loves Denny's. Its right by the house and we pass it everyday to and from work. So last night we were having the typical haven't gone grocery shopping discussion of what's for dinner. He suggest Ihop. I want Waffle House. Then while driving home from work I bring up Denny's. And we agree on that.
We get there and first off they've remodeled since the last time we were there. It looks alot better. Our server seats us and gives us 2 menus each, a regular one and one for Baconalia. Oh yeah! My cousin, Not A Fat Girl, told me about it. I don't even bother looking at the regular menu, I knew I wanted bacon! They had several different entrees and I decided on the bacon flapjacks. 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, hashbrowns and 2 bacon pancakes. The eggs and hashbrowns were yum. The 2 strips of bacon were...disappointing. That bacon couldn't have been thinner and it had like no taste. It was crispy, but I couldn't taste anything. The pancakes were yum. The butter, bacony, maple syrup bites were so good. I def want it again. I couldn't finish which was upsetting bc I really wanted to try the bacon ice cream sundae.
I will go back to try that.

Snack Time

Baken-ets Fried Pork Skins
Admitting I eat these is hard. Pork rinds? Really? Ugh. I am such a fat kid.
Anyway I love pork rinds. Yummy. But I am really picky. I like the ones that are kinda hard but not too hard. And I really like the ones w/ more "flavor." They can really be hit and miss. One bag might be awesome and the next not so much. And they always make me super thirsty.
I don't eat them too much, I seem to get burnt out real quick. And I haven't ever found a brand I like more then the others. Grocery store, gas station, whatever.

Joes Crab Shack

Joe's Classic Steampot

Everytime I go to Joe's I have to get crab. I just like it way to much to get anything else. I am sure they have lots of yummy stuff but I wouldn't know. I started off getting the snow crab pot. Then one day I discovered the Crab Daddy Feast. I liked it, but meh, the King crab is a very angry crab. Even in its death it fights back. The difficulty level of the king crab is like the claw "arm" of a snow crab. For the whole thing! But it was the Crab Daddy Feast that introduced me to the dungeness. I like snow crab but they can be a lot of work. The dungeness is a whole lot easier to crack, w/o the use of all the tools.
Anyhow, when Joe's came out w/ the steampots, I started ordering those. I always get the Classic Steampot. It comes w/ apprx 1 claw snow crab, 1 claw dungeness, boiled shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, and potatoes. I just recently found out you can replace the sausage for more shrimp. Yay! B/c I really don't like the sausage, eww.
Now this visit I was not happy. First off they seasoned it w/ Old Bay. Normally they ask you how you want it or if they don't ask it comes just plain steamed. In general I don't care for Old Bay, I should have sent it back right then, but I toughed it out. I don't know why. I am paying $20+ for 1 meal. I should be 100% happy. So I was already a little disappointed, then the crab was sad. Waterlogged. All the pieces were skimpy. And the top part, where there is always a ton of yummy meat was empty. It looked like the kitchen had pre picked them. I was very sad.
So now I ate an expensive meal and didn't even cure my crab craving. Boo.

Dining In

Manwich Sloppy Joes

Mmm sloppy joe. Slop-sloppy joe. Ok. I have just recently been on a kick for these. I was grocery shopping and wandering around looking for something different for dinner. We get in these dinner ruts and you just keep eating the same 5-6 things. So I wanted to change it up when I saw this. 1 can, 1 lb of hamb meat, buns and "yummy" cheese. Soooo good. The sauce is hard to explain. Its kinda smokey w/ a tomato-y taste. And bonus, its a full serving of veggies. LOL I cant ever eat these w/o making a mess. Its impossible. I think the next time I'm gonna put a towel over me.
If you are stuck in the dinner rut, here's a "new" old favorite to mix it up.

New Companion Blog

Fat Girls Life is a blog for what I am doing when I'm not eating.

I know, when am I not eating!

Check it out.

Fat Girls Life

Snack Time

I am broke so on the way to work I wrote a hot perfectly fund covered check, to get food for lunch/dinner today. And I went to the place I knew I would never over spend. A drug store. Ah hahahaha. I always get more then I go in there for. I am a drug store junkie. I should have bought something to help w/ these headaches I am having. Whine. Pout. Sob. Sad face.
Anyway, snacks.

#1 - Goldfish crackers Xtreme Cheddar
I never buy these. I don't think I like cheese flavored crackers. Cheese Its, Nips, goldfish. But if you eat them around me, I will eventually ask for a couple and I always like them. I don't know why I pretend like I don't. Weird. So as usual they are just as expected. Salty "cheese" crackers. Goldfish are so convenient. Especially for my type of work. Since I work on the phone sex line I cant eat things that take a long time to chew. Its very rude to chew and/or crunch in someones ear. Since these were of the FLAVOR BLASTED persuasion these smiley goldfish were like the best chip over and over. Lots of powdered seasoning. Yum.

#2 - Flipz Milk Chocolate

After the salty, I needed something sweet. And chocolately. I kept walking down the snack aisle and saw cookies, jerkey, nuts, pretzels...oooo Flipz. I tried this once when they first came out and really liked them. Then I started making my own for awhile. I remember my grandparents thinking I was crazy for combining sweet and salty. Like I was the person who invented that. I do remember one specific argument conversation with my gpa regarding chocolate covered pretzels. He was insistent that I was a moron for mixing sweet and salty. I tried to explain that this was a common occurrence. That it was really quite good. He would hear nothing of it, and walked off in disgust. Anywho, sweet and salty is really good, but these aren't that salty. Its more like salt less pretzel. Its still good tho. Good amount of chocolate to pretzel. They also make a, or used to make a gram cracker one. Those were really good. I cant find those any more tho. Bummer.

Taco Cabana

Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

I never get chicken enchiladas if they are sour cream. I prefer my enchiladas to be covered in queso. Mmmm queso. I was talking to my coworker about the beef enchiladas from Taco Cabana and she said I need to try the chicken ones. Last night on the drive home Fat Guy and I were trying to decide on dinner and the final answer was Taco Cabana. I got the 3 enchilada plate, it comes w/ rice, beans and 2 flour tortillas.

The sour cream sauce was good. Tangy and creamy. A good combo w/ the seasoned shredded chicken. Plenty of chicken in the enchiladas. I couldnt tell if the meat was white or dark, maybe a combo of both. The one complaint I have for all of Taco Cabana's enchilada's is the corn tortilla they use always, ALWAYS is too tough to cut w/ a fork. Sometimes its so bad that I can't ever get it to cut and end up just taking out the filling and throwing out the corn tortilla.
The rice is fluffy and has a good Spanish rice flavor. The refried beans are normally ok. I am not a fan of refried beans. But this time is was awful. Tasted like pure salt. Blech. And the 2 flour tortillas as always were delicious. So soft. I love homemade flour tortillas.

Starbucks

Red Velvet Whoopie Pie

I had no idea what the heck a whoopie pie was. My local Starbucks has red velvet cupcakes and so I asked the anonymous drive thru voice if they had those, at the Starbucks by my work, he said no but they have red velvet edgvre efrea.
Uh...what?
Red velvet whoopie pies.
Oh ok. Yeah I guess I'll try one of those.

Its kinda like the tops of the cupcake with a layer of frosting in the middle. Now since it was red velvet all I really wanted was cream cheese frosting. The cake was ok. Honestly I wasnt impressed. I dont know what I was expecting w/ the cake since red velvet doesnt really have a flavor. But the cream cheese frosting was delish.
Portion size was good. Nice 2-3 bite little snack. I did NOT like the red decorative stripes they put across the top of the cake, it was a mess. It stained my fingers and teeth afterwards. Thats why I ended up eating it w/ a fork.

Totino's Party Pizza

Who doesn't love Totino's pizza's?
My mom used to buy them when I was still living at home for my teenage brothers. I never ate them. I just didn't think I'd like them. One day Fat Guy made one and it looked and smelled so good. I asked him to make me one, just like his. He cooked it and just put salt and pepper on it. It was so good.

Today I had a pepperoni. My fav is the Mexican one, but I cant ever find that. I cook mine on a baking sheet bc I like the softer crust. If I have cheese I add alittle extra and I like to top mine w/ Lowry's and dip it in Hidden Valley Ranch.

It really is a tasty treat. Its good almost anytime of day. The flavor is better then any other frozen pizza and really competes w/ delivery too. The cheese isn't that great and the toppings are be sparse but the crust and sauce is yum.

If you've never had one, pick up a few and I bet you will like them, and really you cant beat the price.

**PS I have never seen a family size or a "for one". "For one" is the regular size. Ha.**

Dining In

Beef Stroganoff

Found this recipe on a Betty Crocker email. I am always looking for good crock pot recipes. Since I work, I am always looking for easy recipes and especially ones for crock pots. So when I came across this one I couldn't wait to try it. I always loved Beef Stroganoff from Hamburger Helper, I knew homemade would be better.
Its so good. Its creamy. It has cream cheese! That makes everything better. Its like bacon. They must be related. Anyway, stroganoff...You cook the meat w/ cream of mushroom and onion for the day. The meat gets so tender. Its so good. Then while you wait for noodles to cook you add cream cheese and sour cream to make it super creamy. The noodles are a perfect pairing and everything comes together. Creamy beefy.
Now I gotta heat up the leftovers....

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 reg can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 reg can cream of onion (I used cream of chicken bc I couldn't find onion)
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • package of cream cheese
  • small thing of sour cream
  • egg noodles (or rice/potatoes/etc)
In a crock pot combine meat, onion, and soups. Cook on low for at least 8 hours.
After meat is cooked, cook egg noodles per instructions on package.
Cut up cream cheese and stir into the meat mixture until melted. Then add sour cream until combined.
Drain noodles and stir into crock pot.

Subway Pt 2

12" Subway Club
You can read Pt1 here.

I love Subway. Who doesn't? Its perfect. All those yummy selections. I get the turkey sub. Everytime. I finally decided to change it up and started getting the Subway Club. Turkey, roast beef and ham. I get it on white. I tried wheat for awhile. Its good. But white is better. So soft and squishy. Well they messed it up today. They forgot the ham and put on bacon instead...
Uh... I watched her make the mistake and whispered to fat guy "she forgot the ham, but I'm getting bacon instead"
Score. Free Bacon :-)
I get shredded cheese and toasted. Then I add mayo, a little lettuce, tomato, extra pickles, a little onion and salt/pepper. To me, this is a perfect sandwich. Its hard to criticize a sandwich that you basically made. But I will say the bacon was a whole new taste. If you have never added bacon, you should and this might become my "new" sandwich. The smokey salty taste of the bacon was the perfect added flavor for this sandwich.
Nom. Nom. Nom.
I'm not even hungry and I want another one... to save for later. LOL

Subway Pt 1

Raspberry Cheesecake cookie

Even though I had awesome tater tot cass leftovers, I didn't have time to clean a container and pack 2 lunches for the fat guy and me after running a million errands before work today, so we stopped at Subway. Now I did get a sub, but I haven't eaten it yet. But I did get the new Raspberry Cheesecake cookies.

Cheesecake cookies. OMG!

The cookie dough seems to be just regular sugar cookie base. But then there are hunks of "cheesecake" chips and pieces of raspberry flavored jam. In typical Subway cookie fashion the cookies are slightly undercooked for a chewier softer texture. The over all flavor is very sweet and there are a ton of cheesecake chips. I could go for less chips and more raspberry. And I think the chips are really white chocolate and the cheesecake flavor is artificial flavoring added to the cookie dough. For shame.
I think I like regular choco chip better.

Tater Tot Casserole

I was introduced to this at my high school BFF's house. Her mom made it one weekend night I was spending the night. I remember my friend was annoyed because she hated it. But I tried it and LOVED it. I got the recipe from her mom and started making it for my family on my nights to cook. Almost everyone has loved it.
Who doesn't love a cheesy potato casserole? Yum.
Its easy, cheap and makes alot. So its a good recipe for families. Or for leftovers.
Everyone has a different version. Some people add onions, or corn. I've seen green beans too. Its like a Shepard's Pie but easier. Some versions add the tots on top only. I personally mix all the ingredients together and put them in the casserole dish.
Tater Tot Casserole
  • 1lb ground meat
  • Family size can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Brown meat. Drain. In a large bowl mix meat, soup (no water), tots and cheese.
Pour in casserole dish. Bake for 30-45 mins.

To me its a cheesy potato-y salty goodness. Its very filling. For me and fat guy it serves about 6. But normal portions probably get around 8-10 servings. Try it out and I'm sure you'll like it too.

Chacho's

Crispy Beef Tacos Fiesta Style

On the way to work today me and Fat Guy decided we wanted Chachos, which is some good Mexican food, relatively cheap and quick, across from where I work. I have never been inside at this location, only the drive thru but its always busy. The employees always seem to be happy. Weird.

Anyway. The tacos. I paid 69 cents extra per taco to get them Fiesta style (guac/sour cream/cheese) and Fat Guy ordered his crispy tacos w/ meat and cheese only. So 6 total. And an order of guac. First issue was the order was wrong. They brought out 1 taco for Fat Guy, and my 3 Fiesta tacos. Uh... No we need the other 2. Waiting.... Few mins later we get the tacos and get to work. Start checking my boxes and open my taco box to find this:

Now a regular taco comes w/ lettuce, tomato and cheese. Boo. I don't really care for tomato's and hate lettuce on my taco unless its fresh cold iceberg. This is not. If I wanted a salad, then that's what I would have ordered. But after I picked off all the lettuce and tomato's, the tacos were pretty good. The meat was seasoned well. And not like the powdered mix you get for 49 cents at the grocery store.

I also had an order of guac and chips. Nom nom nom. So good. Its the creamiest guac ever. With random hunks of avocado. They dont season it in anyway, so it needs alittle salt, but other then that its so good. Most restaurant's put tomato in their guac and they don't, its just straight up mashed avocado perfection. I didn't think to take a pic before I devoured it.

Overall I think I would give the tacos another chance and hopefully they get the Fiesta kind right. The guac is a keeper for only $4.79 for a 1/2 pint and a bunch of chips.

I thought everyone should see the ridiclous amount of lettuce and tomato's came w/ the tacos that shouldnt of had ANY!

Jack in the Box Cheesy Fries

Tonight on the way home I wanted a fountain coke from Jack in the Box. The one by my house is always the perfect level of syrup vs carbonation. So anyway, the line was kinda long and I feel silly just getting a coke so I ordered some cheesy fries.
I dont know if this is on the menu at all the JITB's. I had actually be ordering this for a few years of the menu. I don't know if I like the menu version. The order size of the fries are a small maybe. The new fries are pretty good. Crispy and salty. The cheese is the same they have been using for the Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges. Its like an American cheese, nothing fancy.
For $1.99 I think I'd rather get 4 of their greasy tacos.
